After completing his schooling, he did his graduation in Mathematics from D. N. R. College, Bhimavaram. Thereafter, he did a few computer courses and started working at Dell Computers in Hyderabad.
Once, while working as a computer engineer, Subbaraju visited filmmaker, Krishna Vamsi’s assistant’s house to fix his computer. There he got noticed by Krishna Vamsi, who offered him a role in his film “Khadgam.”
