Shepherd Bushiri (born 20 February 1983) also known as Major 1 is a Malawian preacher,[1] religious leader, businessman, and author.[2][3][4]
Bushiri runs a Christian non-denominational church known as the Enlightened Christian Gathering based in Malawi.[5][6] The church's first headquarters was in Chibanja, Mzuzu, where it originated.
Later, the headquarters was moved to Lilongwe with branches in other African countries and around the world.[7][8]
